Join the technical team of Prodigy12

Prodigy12 is a 360° live spectacle inside a purpose-built, mirror-clad pavilion. Live music, large-scale LED visuals, spatial audio and custom-built architecture come together in one surreal, immersive experience.

For our Antwerp edition we are looking for a sound operator, freelancer or student in this field, who runs the audio during every show.

The Antwerp edition runs from 27 January until 2 May 2027, five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday, with 2 to 4 shows per day in the afternoon and evening. We are looking for one person for all shows.

What you will be doing

  • Operating the sound during every performance
  • Managing the in-ear monitors of all musicians (harpist, pianist, singer)
  • Running the show in full sync with the timecode from Ableton
  • Preparing and checking the sound system before each show
  • Working closely with the artists and the rest of the team
  • Taking part in the preparation and training before the run, and possibly in the build-up and dismantling

The setup

  • Mixing console & processing: Yamaha DM7 + controller (Theatre & Broadcast license) and Yamaha DME7 processor
  • Network & routing: 5x Yamaha SWP2-10MMF switches and WSG-PY64 card (Waves)
  • Distribution & monitoring: AED Audio system (50x FLEX 6, 2x SOLID28) and in-ear monitors for all musicians
  • Automation: full synchronization via timecode using Ableton

Requirements

  • Experience or studies in live sound
  • Calm, focused and reliable during a live show
  • Experience with this kind of setup, in-ear monitoring or timecoded shows is a plus
  • Available for every show from 27 January until 2 May 2027
